Reflexology 

Reflexology uses hand and finger massage techniques to stimulate the nerve endings concentrated on the soles of your feet that are believed to correspond to different parts of the body. Reflexology can help alleviate sore soles and arches and promote health and general well-being.

The Ingham method of reflexology is used primarily for relaxing tension period. Doctors agree that over 75% of health problems can be linked to nervous stress and tension. Reflexology improves nerve and blood supply and helps nature to normalize and promote homeostasis.

What can I expect during a Reflexology session?

Your Reflexology session will be in a semi-dark private room with quite, soothing music (optional). You will be on a massage table and remain fully dressed and with your shoes and socks off. We use minimal oil with this treatment.

What can I expect after a Reflexology session?​

Reflexology can leave you more relaxed or energized depending on your body's needs. You may sleep deeper or your digestive system may be more productive. Your structural aches and pains may improve for a time.

 

What do I when I get home/ when I leave Innovative Wellness NWA?

We suggest that you drink plenty of water for the rest of the day to flush toxins released from your body.

 

When can I schedule my next session?

If you have a chronic problem that they are trying to improve, we suggest a Reflexology session every 1 - 2 weeks, then a monthly maintenance session.

Who will get the most benefit from a Reflexology session?

Reflexology is recommended for anyone dealing with tension and stress.

For expectant Moms, we recommend a Reflexology session after the first trimester.
